WHAT: On Our Own is hosting nationally recognized author and keynote speaker Shery Mead, MSW, to present her research and experience with peer support and how it is an effective method of supporting recovery from mental illness.
PARKING: Parking in the Water St parking garage will be covered. Please bring parking ticket with you.

WHAT: Join On Our Own for an open house, celebrating 18 years as a peer run non-profit organization, serving the community of Charlottesville. Get answers about recovery resources provided at On Our Own.
PARKING: Please park at the Jefferson School just down the road on 4th St., NW.

The community presentation is funded by the Department of Mental Health Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services and the Thomas Jefferson Area Crisis Intervention Team (CIT).
